Description

The EnGenius ECB350 is an ideal solution for expanding an existing network and increasing bandwidth to support additional users. This 2.4 GHz Wireless-N Indoor Access Point/Client Bridge that features up to 29 dBm RF Tx (transmit) power for long range coverage, wireless speeds up to 300 Mbps and a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting to a switch or router. The ECB350 delivers up to 6x faster speeds and 7x extended coverage than lower-power, legacy 802.11g access points. For small-to-medium-sized business networks and for larger homes, the ECB350 provides superior throughput, performance and unparalleled wireless range.

The ECB350 features eight different operation modes to meet the changing needs of evolving business The ECB350’s robust transmit power, enhanced receive sensitivity and its MIMO (Multiple In/Multiple Out) antenna array extends wireless coverage and enhances connectivity to client devices even in areas where connections have been previously challenging or non-existent. This capability also helps to reduce the number of Access Points needed to deploy over large properties and helps to eliminate the need for roaming clients to constantly re-associate to different APs in the building or throughout the property. For deployments near ceilings or in crawlspaces where power outlets may be scarce, the ECB350 is also PoE (Power-over-Ethernet) capable when used with a PoE injector, like the 802.3af compliant EnGenius EPE5818Gaf. environments.

SSID-to-VLAN Tagging

Can be configured to broadcast up to eight (8) SSIDs. Each SSID can be tagged to a specified company network VLAN for different user access based on established access rights.

Detachable Antennas

2x 5 dBi upgradable antennas with optimized configuration and RF performance for increase Wi-Fi coverage and receive sensitivity.

EZ Controller™

EZ Controller™ software for Windows, Mac OS X or Linux provides a suite of tools for IT managers, installers and network administrators to manage and maintain wireless networks. Available as a free download.

Provides Power and Connectivity to a Variety of Devices

Up to 15.4W per port with a total PoE budget of 61.6W. PoE IEEE 802.3af Support enables Access Points, Client Bridges, IP Surveillance Cameras, VoIP telephones and more to be powered directly from the Switch over an Ethernet cable.

Ideal for Networks in Large Buildings or Linking Remote Buildings on a Campus

Includes Dual Speed 2 SFP ports to support transceivers for fiber cabling for connectivity to offices, buildings, or other parts of the network that exceed the distance capability of regular Ethernet.

Gigabit Speed for Small Businesses

8 Gigabit Ports provides connectivity for devices and applications that require high speed network access and connectivity to PoE devices.

PoE Management

Enables office users to easily connect and supply power to Power over Ethernet devices such as IP cameras, IP phones, and Wireless Access Points on a network.

Diagnose and Maintain with Ease

Cable Diagnostic features and tests provide information about connectivity issues that may arise on the network so administrators can quickly isolate and repair an issue.
